Biopharmaceuticals and aseptic process case. In the biopharmaceutical industry, the purity and pressure stability of steam directly affect the sterilization effect and drug safety. A leading domestic biopharmaceutical company faced problems during the expansion of its vaccine production line, including large pressure fluctuations in the original steam system and untimely steam purging, resulting in sterilization dead zones. After the Spacera technology team intervened, they conducted a full-process steam system audit, replaced the traditional inverted bucket steam trap with a sanitary balanced pressure steam trap (BT6-B series) and Steri-trol aseptic control valve, and equipped it with a Spiratrol modular control system. After the renovation, the system pressure fluctuations were controlled within ±0.1 bar, the sterilization pass rate increased to 99.8%, and through the optimization of condensate water recovery, the factory saved approximately 120 tons of standard coal per year and reduced steam waste by 15%. The Spacera VVLM30 Food+ sanitary vortex flowmeter also provided the company with precise steam measurement data, meeting the FDA and EC1935 compliance requirements.
Food and beverage and beer brewing cases. The food and beverage industry is highly sensitive to heat exchange efficiency and the energy consumption of cleaning (CIP) systems. Taking a certain production base of China Resources Snow Beer as an example, the main steam pipeline network in the saccharification and fermentation workshop has serious secondary steam flash loss and uneven heating problems. Schrader provided TD62M maintainable thermal dynamic trap valve (with a pressure rating of up to 42 bar g) and prefabricated steam station (STS17.2 Trap Station), and deployed DP27G self-operated pressure reducing valve in front of key heat exchange equipment to ensure constant pressure. The modular card box design of TD62M enables the replacement of valve cores without cutting the pipeline in the dense pipe gallery, significantly reducing maintenance downtime. After the project was launched, the steam consumption per unit of the base decreased by 12%, and annual energy cost savings exceeded 2 million yuan. Moreover, the anti-water hammer ability of the thermal dynamic trap valve significantly reduces the risk of pipe vibration and leakage in the network.
